It means that basically the Government has confiscated all of the property 'wealth' generated over the past 15 years in order to pay those who profited the most from the boom.....their cronies....

What a cute little country!!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15221662227888883753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817171247555815363.post-29857231952461164392010-05-10T16:15:25.285+01:002010-05-10T16:15:25.285+01:00Hi Constantine,

This point is far too easily refuted – teachers will always have the emotional trump card of working for children and, in fairness, they are there to educate children, not mind them while everyone else works.

So I really think you’re barking up the wrong rhetorical tree with that one. A far more salient example I recently encountered was the Company Registrations Office. Here is an arm of the public service purportedly offering a “service” directly for the companies of Ireland. But should you wish to speak to them on the phone, you can do so only between 10a.m. and 12.30p.m. and 2.30p.m. and 4p.m., Monday to Friday; a total window of 4 hours!

Not many businesses have the luxury of a 4 hour workday!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17871002310769700227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817171247555815363.post-10965825737467326672010-05-09T16:49:27.833+01:002010-05-09T16:49:27.833+01:00Hi
